ENCORI/starBase (Encyclopedia of RNA Interactomes) is an extensive atlas that integrates precise RNA interactions identified by our new rbsSeeker and rriScan tools, showcasing the functional and mechanistic insights into the RNA interactomes.
Utilizing our new rbsSeeker software, we systematically identified distinct RNA-binding preferences for hundreds of RBPs (RNA-binding proteins) from thousands of CLIP-seq data, uncovering millions of high-confidence RBP-RNA interactions with diverse cellular functions and significant clinical implications in cancers. Additionally, our novel rriScan software revealed the complexity of RNA regulation by discovering millions of reliable RNA-RNA interactions.
ENCORI/starBase integrates comprehensive analyses from thousands of CLIP-seq datasets to facilitate the identification of large numbers of high-confidence RBP-binding sites/regions via rbsSeeker, while tools such as rriScan, TDMDScore, and RBP-MotifScan enable systematic exploration of RNA-RNA interactions, miRNA degradation, and RBP binding motifs. ENCORI further incorporates Pan-Cancer datasets, shRNA-RBP screens, and degradome-seq analyses, and provides application programming interfaces (APIs) and visualization tools, creating a resource for comprehensive investigation of the regulatory roles and mechanisms of ncRNAs, mRNAs, and RBPs.
